With a conventional 3D printer, the molding and designing process is completed by pressing the start button. From this point on, humans have no influence on the development process.
The Tool №3 takes a different approach. This is a hand-operated machine for analogue three-dimensional printing. No engine, no computing support: the human drives, draws, translates and the tool №3 builds the object layer by layer.
The focus is on the acquired craftsmanship and the everlasting relationship to the material. Every interruption, irritation or wrong decision during the printing process is visible in the object.
